NATIONAL COUNCIL OF WOMEN
SOUTH AUSTRALIA
STANDING TOGETHER FOR A STRONGER VOICE
Our Story
With our member organisations and individual members, together we advocate for the rights and advancement of women and girls in South Australia.
NCWSA was founded in 1902, by the inaugural Vice President, Catherine Helen Spence. Today our Patron-In-Chief is Her Excellency The Hon Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia and our Patron is the Right Hon. Lord Mayor of the City of Adelaide.
NCWSA represents a range of women’s organisations and is a State constituent council of the National Council of Women Australia, and the International Council of Women.
We’re committed to investing our expertise and resources to further achieve our vision of equality for all women.
As a membership organisation we help our community achieve their goals and ambitions. We are an advocacy organisation and seek to represent the voices of our members. We are not lobbyists and are non-political, non-partisan and non-sectarian.
Just imagine what we can achieve together!
